Champions for Sycamore House Pregnancy & Family Life Center

Here are a list of volunteer positions we could always use to help keep Sycamore House going and flourishing! We have an online form you can fill out, click here. We require you to also have 3 references, one a pastor/clergy, please click here to fill out or share the reference form. If you prefer to fill out a hard copy, we can email it to you or stop in and we can give you one. Please sure to read our Mission Statement, Statement of Faith and Principle on our ABOUT page as well.

Qualifications to be a volunteer:

• Be a Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord through active prayer life, study of the Word and fellowship with others.
• Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of all human life and sexual purity.
• Agree with and be willing to uphold the Mission, Statement of Faith & Principle, and policies of the center.
• Be able to respect and keep information confidential.
• Be dependable, stable, and capable of following through on commitments.
• Exhibit a sincere desire to reach out with the love of Jesus to people in distress.
• Be able to identify and adjust to a client’s pace of progress and growth – within normal limits.
• Be familiar with scripture pertaining to the sanctity of life, forgiveness, and salvation.
• Complete the pregnancy center volunteer training and to be committed to serve for one year or more.
• Be willing to ask questions of the staff if you are unsure about any situation that may arise.
